My twice of year out of towner. Traveling in for her cuts its important we make the most of her appointments. Creating a shape that last and an at home regimen that meets all her needs in Boston are top priority. Custom shaping and longterm planning are key.
Her take on our time together: "I am so lucky to have found Jackie Wilt Artistry! My hair has tremendously improved over the past year as Jackie has masterfully worked with and assessed its strengths and weaknesses. I adore and appreciate my curls as they are, and my scalp is happy again without any particular attention given to it other than thorough shampoo. Not only do I get to enjoy what she does to my hair in the salon and my experience getting pampered in her fabulous place during my haircuts, but her product recommendations as my needs have changed along the way have also made ALL the difference! I have learned to take home the products and use the skills and techniques she has taught me to work with my hair on my own…With patience, I can actually understand now the results I get from styling as based upon my effort and choices in hair care, while maintaining my length with Jackie. Jackie is a RARE FIND and so talented! Here, I was put at ease in the salon chair for probably the first time in my life and I will never give up getting to go see her (now I know anyone I went to before probably had no idea what they were doing in cutting or styling my hair type and I'm going to have a hard time giving anyone else a chance at cutting my hair again). After I listened to her thoughts and we made a plan, I felt like I was finally in trustworthy hands and could breathe. Jackie is overwhelmingly knowledgeable and experienced and yet she met me right where I was, listened, and never made me feel like I had to do anything a certain way just based on her opinion. Jackie puts you in charge rather than you getting dragged through some haphazard process and crossing your fingers that it works out for you. I had no idea the potential my hair had at the time! Jackie Wilt has done so much for me. I didn't know what my hair goals were at first but I'm so glad I didn't shy away from the journey! It is so worth it to finally understand and TAKE CARE OF my hair which I had no idea was possible. But thank God, Jackie taught me!!"

Knowing she needed a change, convinced her curl was destine to be be frizz filled and undefined.. She left it up to me to find our vision. Our strategy started with one simple question "show me what too short means to you?" A detox, care regimen, and treatment completed our curl transformation and the rest is history.
Her take on our time together: I cannot say enough about Jackie. I have never had a stylist explain the ins and outs with My hair. She did am amazing job helping pick out a cut that fit me! Curl Awakening Experience
Her transformation started with a conversation about her current care routine—mostly hair brushing, ponytails, and non-curl-friendly "anti-frizz" products from the drugstore. She wanted education and understanding as to why her curls had always looked so "bad."
Our conversation began with a simple question: "What does good hair mean to you?" I shared what I observed about the health of her hair, and we discussed her discomfort with the flakes on her scalp. Then there was the shape. Long and flat wasn't serving her best. What about a side part? The asymmetry would create a more mature, flattering look—drawing attention to her beautiful face instead of closing it off with a center part that created a harsh vertical line.
Her Take on Our Time Together: "Our daughter suffers from Seborrhoeic Dermatitis. As a teenager it has been embarrassing and difficult to treat given the hormonal changes. After seeing two dermatologists and trying multiple regimens, we finally are able to partner with Jackie to address the issue. Not only did she recommend a specific regimen, she also took the time to educate our daughter on how to best wash her scalp and which products work best for this issue (Jackie shared she knows how to deal with this well). Jackie also took time to teach her how to manage her curls with specific styling techniques that will help her curls shine. I highly recommend her for both tweens/teens learning how to manage their unruly hair, as well as adults looking for new styles/cut! Super friendly and supportive! Our daughter's cut is adorable and I decided to book an appointment for myself as Jackie is dedicated to helping you look and feel your best!"
